Review: Foreo Luna Mini

Hi guys, hope you are having a wonderful week. I’m doing another review today but on skincare this time. Now I’m sure you’ve heard of the Clarisonic, unless you just got out of prison or something, the goal with Foreo is basically the same thing: to give you beautiful smooth skin.  The brand claims the following “this powerful device gently removes dead skin cells, and unclogs pores of dirt, oil, and makeup residue. It enhances the absorption of skin care products and delivers visibly brighter, more radiant skin”. So does it actually work?

um YASSSSS girl, this is holy grail for me. Let me tell you all the reasons why:

  1. It’s better than the Clarisonic. Before I bought this product, my skin was breaking out A LOT, on my chin, forehead, cheeks. I tried so many spot treatments and different cleansers, yet nothing seemed to work so I was getting really frustrated. I thought it would be worth it to invest in a Clarisonic, but when I did research on it I wasn’t totally sold. One, because you have to change the brush head quite often, which is $50 every time, and two it requires charging alllllll the time for long periods too. I was still debating it when I came across the Foreo on the Sephora website. Even though it was still relatively new, the device was a one time purchase and seemed really easy to use; so I bought it.
  2. Makes your skin as smooth as a baby’s bottom. With every new skincare product you use, you have to give it some time to really notice a difference. After 1 month of using the Luna, I was definitely breaking out less. After 3 months,  I hardly had any pimples on my biggest problem areas. I would only have minimal breakouts when mother nature would decide to grace me with her presence. After 6 months, OMG my skin looked sooo nice and smooth, my foundation would look so flawless and natural that I was like “is this even me :O”!!!! My coworker was so impressed, she even went and bought for herself and her husband haha! So like I said if you do end up buying this don’t expect a drastic change right away. It takes time for your skin to transform, I’ve been using mine for over a year and a half now and refuse to start my day or go to sleep before using it.
  3. You barely have to charge it. I’m not exaggerating when I say this but you literally have to charge it once every 4 months for ONE HOUR. Could you imagine if our phone charges lasted that long? Get on it Apple.

Even if you’ve already been blessed with nice skin, it’ll still help give you deeper clean; it unclogs your pores, evens out your skin tone and brightens your complexion. What more do you want people???

The one con I have is that the device itself is hard to clean, especially between the bristles. If you own one and have a good way of cleaning it please let me know.

If you’re considering buying one I have some good news!!!! The original Luna Mini is on sale now, because they’ve released a newer one (which is basically the exact same thing *eye roll*).  Click HERE if you’re interested! If you have any questions leave them down below! xo

Hi nina! I have the clarisonic one, and it work realy well for me. I have combination to oil skin and it helps me a lot! About the charging thing, its true! takes lots of time to charge full but after using it many many times during week. And the brush we have to change it every 3 months if you use it everyday or often take you makeup with it. Well, i like your review on the luna mini its very interisting i will take a look! XOXO
